Leticia Malaquio

Leticia Malaquio, a psychologist specialized in Human Resources and education, offers a unique perspective to the field of relocation. With a background that includes five international moving processes at different stages of her family’s life, Leticia has firsthand experience and understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with moving to a new city, country, and continent.

Originally from Uruguay, Leticia embarked on her international journey in 2003 when she moved to Barcelona, Spain to pursue her master’s degree in business administration. From there, she ventured to Bolivia as a single expatriate working for a multinational company, where she not only immersed herself in a new professional environment but also had the opportunity to embrace a different culture and ultimately meet her Ecuadorian husband. Their journey continued to Lima, Peru, where they resided for nearly 12 years before the pandemic presented them with an opportunity to return to Uruguay. Finally, in 2021, Leticia and her family, including her two teenage children, arrived in Miami, ready to embrace a new chapter in their lives and face the unique challenges and needs that come with raising adolescents in a new environment.

Miami, renowned for its diverse mix of cultures and people, resonated with Leticia and her family due to their familiarity with living and working in an international setting. Inspired by her own relocation experiences, Leticia decided to utilize her expertise in psychology, human resources, and education to support foreign families in navigating the complex process of moving and settling into a new environment. Her primary goal is to help families feel a sense of belonging in Miami and provide them with the necessary support to thrive in their new lives.

With Leticia’s guidance, you’ll receive personalized support throughout your relocation, ensuring a smooth transition and a successful start to your new life in Miami.
